About
Journalist with a passion for visual storytelling

I am currently a junior at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University studying journalism with an emphasis in visual storytelling and minoring in business. I am a native Arizonan with an itch to travel and capture life wherever I venture.

I became interested in photography after taking a film photography class my freshman year of high school. As I learned more about my camera and how to utilize it to my full advantage, I began to fall in love with visual storytelling and capturing real and raw moments. My love for capturing moments that depicted truth and emotion is what lead me to pursue a career in photojournalism. I furthered my skills and experience in two years of an advanced photography course and during my freshman year at Cronkite I worked as a photographer for Downtown Devil which solidified my desire to photograph newsworthy events, stories and people. I continued on to become a photographer and photo editor for ASU’s student-run news publication The State Press throughout my sophomore and junior year of college.
